Arm pods, worn on the upper arm, measure flexion, extension, abduction, and adduction angles. Additionally, it measures the angular rate and duty cycle. The data is transmitted via Bluetooth to the smartphone.
Insoles measure vertical ground reaction forces using sensors that are distributed from heel to toes.
The accuracy of the insoles has been demonstrated against instrumented treadmills in a Department of Defense research program. The durability has been tested up to typical step profile of 6 months of wear.
