Given that VO2 fatigue levels, steps per shift, and lifts per shift were in normal ranges, the root risk problem was clearly identified: bad lifting technique at Shift 3. In fact, Shift 3 on average used bad lifting technique over 68% of the time.

Worker wellness improvements included the introduction of exoskeletons, worker training, and lift technique monitoring.
